City Dream Centre Society

City Dream Centre provides a wide variety services to Surrey and other areas of the lower mainland.

Our feeding programs provide thousands of food hampers each year to individuals, families and seniors in need. Also included are weekly emergency weekend food hampers for some families in our inner-city adopted schools.

Our Education programs are taught in most local prisons a well as several shelters and recovery homes. The courses are court recognized, helping parents reunite with their children.

Our mobile dental unit has 3 full dental stations and brings a wide range of care to kids in our adopted schools, moms and their kids in shelters, seniors, and others in need in the community.

Our Adopt-a-School program provides support to families, teachers and administrators in many of our inner-city schools. The program includes a large Back to School event where 2500 backpacks with school supplies are distributed. There are also free new and used clothing and kid's haircuts to help families prepare for the new school year. At Christmas, this program provides 3100 Christmas gifts to kids in 7 of our adopted schools. During the school year we run Girls and Boys Club noon hour mentoring programs to help equip at risk youth against gangs and traffickers.

In response to the needs arising from Covid19, we increased our food hamper program to between 900 and 1000 hampers distributed every 2 weeks between April 1 and August 31. The need has continued longer than expected so we are seeking more funding to continue this program. Funds raised here will go towards that goal.
