Mike Bose
Director
Michael (Mike) Bose is a fourth generation farmer in the City of Surrey. He manages the family farm, which raises turkey and grows feed corn for dairy farmers, and co-owns the Bose Family Corn Maze with his wife and two sons.
Mike has been involved in the community for over 25 years in many volunteer roles: he is serving his second term as a director for theMutual Fire Insurance Company of B.C.; he has been part of the granting committee for the Surrey Foundation since 2001; and he has recently completed a 23-year career as a volunteer coach for theCloverdale Minor Hockey Association.
In addition, Mike is Past-Chair, founder and now Vice-Chair of the City Of Surrey’s Agricultural Advisory Council, and has served six years as a director of the Surrey Memorial Hospital Foundation. He was also President of the Surrey Farmers Institute and now serves as Vice-President, as well as participating in a number of planning committees for the City of Surrey. Mike’s great grandfather arrived in Surrey in 1890 and began his family’s tradition of community involvement, and Mike is proud to be a part of this rich history and to carry on the tradition of building a better Surrey for future generations to enjoy.
