Gabby Gill

Investment Committee Chair

Gabby currently works in the Corporate Finance team at the Corix Group of Companies, a rapidly growing utility infrastructure company backed and wholly owned by the British Columbia Management Corporation (BCI). In his role he helps oversee strategic finance initiatives, short-term and long-term forecasting, valuations, and capital planning for a portfolio of companies spread across 20 states and 4 provinces.

Gabby became a CPA in 2018 and articled in Grant Thornton LLP’s Audit practice, specializing primarily in mid-market public clients in the technology, mining, and manufacturing sectors reporting under IFRS and US GAAP. He thus has a strong technical base in financial reporting, internal controls, and the audit framework. He also holds a Master in Professional Accounting degree from the University of Saskatchewan and graduated with Distinction from Kwantlen Polytechnic University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.

He concurrently serves as the Board Chair for the KPU Alumni Association, an organization playing a core part in the governance of Kwantlen Polytechnic University and has enjoyed volunteering and giving back to the communities he’s involved with.

When not living in eternal Microsoft Teams meetings you can find him hiking mountains, backpacking through countries, reading everything tech/business, and poorly assessing the chances of rain before going for a run.
