Chris D. Drinovz is a lawyer leading the employment and labour practice group at Kane Shannon Weiler LLP. Chris was born and raised in South Surrey and now resides in Cloverdale with his fiancé. He attended the University of British Columbia where he graduated on the Dean’s Honour List with a Bachelor of Science, Mathematics Major. He went on to earn a Juris Doctor at the UBC Peter Allard School of Law. During law school, Chris was active in the Law Students Legal Advice Program, a legal clinic offering free legal advice and services to those in need in the community. He also regularly volunteered for the Union Gospel Mission and various other organizations.
Chris became a lawyer in 2011 and practiced at a large Fraser Valley Firm. In 2014, he was named the third best lawyer in the criminal law category of the 2014 Georgia Strait Best of Vancouver Awards. He then practiced at a boutique employment and disability law firm in Langley before joining KSW Lawyers in 2016. He is currently on the Executive of the Canadian Bar Association, Employment Law Subsection.
In his spare time, Chris enjoys listening to jazz music, playing the drums in “Lost & Loaded” (band of lawyers who wish they were rock stars), and downhill skiing.
