Are you a charity looking for grants?
Each year in March, SurreyCares Community Foundation opens grant applications to qualified applicants. Applications close at noon on the last Friday of April.
2020 Grant Applications are now closed.

General Community
General Funds were set up to provide the greatest impact on community needs. This allows SurreyCares the discretion to direct funds to the most critical needs in the City. We have made the decision to fund needs that are identified by our most recent Surrey Vital Signs report. These may include Arts & Culture, Education & Literacy, Heritage, Successful Integration of Immigrants into Surrey Society, the Environment, and Seniors.

Special Needs
The SRS Vocational Services Society Fund was established to provide grants for charities that offer employment programs for adults who are disadvantaged.
The Seventy Times Seven Fund supports programs assisting those suffering from mental illness, and in particular, organizations and programs that provide addiction counselling, treatment and support services.

Youth Initiatives
The Coast Capital, Surrey Youth and CIBC Wood Gundy Field of Interest Funds were established by donors who have indicated youth as an area of community need but leave the decision-making up to SurreyCares based on donor criteria.
These are some of the criteria for successful grants. A full list of criteria is released with the most updated Grant Application.
