Yvonne Comfort and her family of five have lived in Cloverdale for a total of 10 years. Yvonne was an essential part of the opening team and ongoing successful operation of the Tong Louie Family YMCA. She has passion for people, education, health and leadership and values growth and continual learning. Currently, she works for the City of Port Coquitlam as the Area Manager of Recreation. Through many years of working for a charitable organization, she has developed a high appreciation for volunteers and service and values those who choose to make a difference in the lives of others. Yvonne looks forward to serving her community of Surrey through her role as Chair of the first Community Cabinet for the SurreyCares Community Foundation.
