About Our Needs

Kindred Community Farm Sanctuary is a humane and compassionate environment where people, animals and nature come together to improve the emotional and physical well-being of all members of our community. Kindred is: a forever home for rescued farm animals who are trained in therapeutic work, a garden to nourish the body and soul, and a forest/natural habitat to teach us to slow down, breathe deep and quiet the mind. The combination of these three ingredients has the power to transform an individual’s understanding of him/herself and his/her place in the world.
Every therapeutic group (eg., Healing for Healers) that come to the farm need funding from the community. These donations keep our barn door open to help more people and animals. Our Cup of Coffee Club, $5 per month pays for our monthly animal care which includes vet care, food, medicine, and supplies.
